Parroquia San Lucas Evangelista is the principal Roman Catholic parish in Cabo San Lucas and is dedicated to Saint Luke the Evangelist, the patron saint for whom the city is named. The church has played an important role in the spiritual life of the community for decades and remains one of the most visited churches in Los Cabos.
The parish offers regular Masses, sacramental services, religious education, and community activities. Due to Cabo San Lucas’ international population and tourism industry, the church serves both local Mexican families and visitors from around the world. The parish is part of the Catholic Diocese of La Paz and remains an active center for worship, pastoral care, and religious celebrations.
The parish offers religious education and sacramental preparation programs for children, including First Communion and catechism classes. Specific schedules and enrollment details vary throughout the year.
The parish supports youth participation through Catholic formation programs, youth activities, and sacramental preparation. However, detailed program schedules were not consistently available online.
